Last updated May 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of CineIt. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CineIt you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are using CineIt on behalf of someone else, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms for them.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use CineIt. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

Your content

Ratings, reviews, and other content you create remain yours. By posting it, you grant CineIt a limited license to store, display, and share it within the app as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your reviews to friends). You are responsible for the content you post.

Intellectual property

The CineIt app, its name, and its design are owned by CineIt and protected by applicable law. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission.

Third-party content

Show and movie metadata, including titles, descriptions, artwork, and cast information, is provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Your use of that content is subject to TMDB's terms.

Disclaimers

CineIt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that metadata provided by third parties will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CineIt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using CineIt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that could harm CineIt or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
